ilustracionesEste artículo evalúa la teoría y evidencia sobre el papel de la distribución del capital humano en el crecimiento económico. El análisis documenta distintos factores que condicionan los procesos de formación y se traducen en un conjunto de realizaciones heterogéneas en materia de logro educativo que configuran la distribución de capital humano. Con datos para 134 países desde 1960 al 2010, se estimaron los efectos del nivel de capital humano y su distribución sobre la tasa de crecimiento económico mediante la especificación de un término de interacción entre el capital humano y el Gini de educación.
