Italian Critical Geographies: an historical perspective

none3noToday, it may be difficult to draw a tentative map of an Italian critical geography. Like many other academic fields, in the last decades Italian geography has undergone a process of profound internationalization. This process has seen, on the one hand, the departure (and sometimes the return) of many academics; on the other, an increased tendency to spend extensive study and work periods abroad on the part of most early career geographers.
