AbstractThe transport, buildings and industry sectors, which still rely on gas and liquid fossil fuels, are the sectorswith the highest carbon reduction costs. In this context, Power-to-X technologies, together with thedevelopment of low carbon electricity generation facilities look promising for full decarbonization by 2050.This paper describes three types of Power-to-X technologies, the basic principle of Power-to-X systems andthe reactions that occur.
