Studying aquatic macroinvertebrates is useful for estimating the integrity of an ecosystem, due to their ability to reflect the effect of a wide variety of pollutants. The research was conducted to evaluate the diversity of aquatic macroinvertebrates present in two lotic ecosystems of the municipality of El Doncello, Caquetá, between August 2019 and March 2020, comprising high water, transition, and low water periods. Three sampling stations were established in the Doncello river and the Anayá stream of the same municipality.
