This report addresses the use of linear robust control theory in control of Dc-Dc switching converters. A typical fifth-order DC-DC high power converter is considered as a study system. Satisfactory stability and satisfactory performance, in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances are properly determined as control objectives. The stability and performance of the converter and the effectiveness of the proposed controllers are demonstrated by nonlinear computer simulations. The results are compared to conventional methods
