Bird watching is a natural eco-tourism type that has been broadly adopted in many countries because of its economic, social, and environmental benefits. This study assesses the potential of bird resource biodiversity as a basis for applying this emerging form in tourism development strategies in Bach Ma National Park (BMNP). The data were collected from secondary sources and a field trip in 2019. The results show that the bird fauna of BMNP has a relatively high biodiversity with 366 species, 63 families, and 16 orders. Of these, 8 endemic species belong to 4 families, 3 orders, and 16 rare species listed in the Vietnam Red Book.
