In this study, a new composite GO-4-HBDTOF was prepared by coating 4-HBDTOF terpolymer on graphene oxide. The terpolymer and composite were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy analysis. Batch experiments were carried out to evaluate efficiency of the sorbents 4-HBDTOF and GO-4-HBDTOF composite for the removal of Pb(II) ion from aqueous solutions. The effect of contact time, pH and initial concentration of Pb(II) on the adsorption process were investigated. The equilibrium data were fitted to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm model.
