Densidades del cultivo de sandía (citrullus vulgaris) variedad peacock wr60 en la localidad de bello horizonte provincia de San Martín

According to the results, the watermelon variety Peacock WR 60, with the distancing of 4 x 4 m (T1), it reached bigger longitude of the shaft (20.44 m) and the but high yield with a production of 36 562 Kg/ha, likewise an utility of was obtained SI. 6 862.56 new suns what represents a relationship of 2.68, with the distancing 5 x 5 m (T 3) it reached the biggest number (5.20) of fruits for plant. The local variety (Picurina) with distancing of 4 x 4 m their yield was of 24 046.00 Kg/ha.El presente trabajo se qesarrollo, con el objeto de determinar la densidad de siembra de la sandia variedad Peacock WR 60; en la localidad de Bello Horizonte, Distrito de la Banda de Shilcayo, Provincia y Región San Martín, Zona de vida bosque seco tropical (Bs-T), con una precipitación pluvial de 1 200 mm/año; fue instalado bajo un diseño bloque completo randomizado, con 4 tratamiento y 4 repeticiones. Se evaluó el crecimiento del tallo, número de frutos, rendimiento del fruto y la relación beneficio costo del cultivo. Según los resultados, la sandía variedad Peacock WR 60, con el distanciamiento de 4 x 4 m (T1), alcanzó mayor longitud del tallo (20.44 m) y el mas alto rendimiento con una producción de 36 562 Kg/ha, así mismo se obtuvo una utilidad de SI. 6 862.56 nuevos soles lo que representa una relación de 2.68, con el distanciamiento 5 x 5 m (T 3) alcanzó el mayor número (5.20) de frutos por planta. La variedad local (Picurina) con distanciamiento de 4 x 4 m su rendimiento fue de 24 046.00 Kg/ha
