Evaluación de dos sistemas de racionamiento comercial en la alimentación de cerdos en etapa de post destete (31-52 días) en el fundo Miraflores - trópico de San Martín

The aim of this study was to improve pig feed at the stage of rearing (from weaning to 52 days), for which two types of food were used, traditional food from farm and commercial food Pig Tech 2 and Pig Tech 3 was used. the traditional balanced was made in the pigs module of Fundo Miraflores, owned by the National University of San Martin, using 24 piglets Landrace-Yorkshire Duroc 31 days of age of two litters, where two types of food were delivered, one and pelleting other PigTech (Purina), which are divided by 2 steps and their respective days of age: First stage (31-40 days) and Second stage (41-52 days). The 24 piglets will be separated into groups of 4 where a dozen will be provided with the commercial feed (Stage I and Stage II) and the other dozen traditional food (Stage I and Stage II). The food was supplied as directed by the trading company and the University. Food consumption significant difference where in the first stage, the treatment was the highest consumption (5.08 kg) compared with the control (3.50 kg) was found; and for the second stage treatment it was the highest consumption (7.50 kg) compared with the control (6.17 kg). El objetivo de este estudio fue mejorar la alimentación del cerdo en la etapa de recría (del destete hasta los 52 días), para lo cual se empleó dos tipos de alimentación, alimento tradicional de granja y alimento comercial Pig Tech 2 y Pig Tech 3. Se realizó en el módulo de cerdos del Fundo Miraflores, propiedad de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín, empleando 24 lechones Landrace-Yorkshire con Duroc de 31 días de edad de dos camadas, donde se suministró dos tipos de alimentos, uno el balanceado tradicional y otro el peletizado PigTech (Purina), los cuales se dividieron por 2 etapas y sus respectivos días de edad: Primera etapa (31-40 días) y Segunda etapa (41-52 días). Los 24 lechones fueron separados en grupos de 4 donde a una docena se le suministró el alimento comercial (Etapa I y Etapa II) y a la otra docena la alimentación tradicional (Etapa I y Etapa II). El alimento se suministró según las indicaciones de la empresa comercial y de la Universidad. En el consumo de alimento se encontró diferencia significativa, donde en la Primera etapa, el Tratamiento fue el de mayor consumo (5.08 kg) con respecto al Testigo (3.50 kg); y para la Segunda etapa el Tratamiento fue el de mayor consumo (7.50 kg) con respecto al Testigo (6.17 kg). Para el Peso Inicial de la Primera etapa también se encontró diferencia significativa, el mayor fue el testigo (6.06kg) con respecto al tratamiento (4.36 kg); para el Peso Final de la primera etapa, el tratamiento obtuvo 8 mayor ganancia (8.70 kg) con respecto al testigo (7.14 kg); para el Peso Final de la segunda etapa, el tratamiento fue de mayor ganancia (12.33 kg) a comparación del testigo (8.60 kg). En Conversión Alimenticia en la primera etapa también hubo diferencia, siendo mayor el tratamiento (1.19 kg) respecto al testigo (3.75 kg); y en la segunda etapa, el tratamiento también obtuvo buen resultado (2.14 kg) a comparación del testigo (5.01 kg). En el análisis de costos se encontró un margen de utilidad más alto con el alimento comercial, pero se justifica con la ganancia de peso y conversión alimenticia.
