This study aimed to analyze the theses in Mathematics Education of the Youth and Adults defended in Brazil in the first decade of the 21st century, focusing on the analysis of its problems and main considerations and recommendations. In methodological terms, this is an investigation with a qualitative approach with characteristics of state-of-the-art research, having as material for analysis ten theses with object of investigation dealing with the relationship between Mathematics Education and Youth and Adult Education (EJA), defended in stricto sensu Brazilian graduate programs from 2001 to 2010.
