This article describes the product of a doctoral study that sought to identify how digital technologies can provide the development of skills and competencies for the construction of scientific knowledge in initial teacher education courses. It presents a didactic proposal entitled "SK Model" that aims to guide educators of higher education, particularly in the area of Science and Mathematics, to reflect on the digital competencies needed to plan, execute and evaluate pedagogical strategies with the use of digital technologies.
