This research, made from a documentary perspective, aimed to carry out a survey of the Pibid works of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the Sertão Pernambucano (IF Sertão-PE), which contributed to the teaching-learning of the discipline of Chemistry in the schools of the Basic Education, object of intervention. The study was guided by the principles of qualitative research and document analysis. It was analyzed, through the technique of content analysis, the abstracts of the works presented in the Journey of Initiation to Teaching (JID) of IF Sertão-PE, in the years 2016 and 2017, which were part of the didactic-pedagogical activities related to the teaching Chemistry content in schools.
