Ilhas de calor em Cidade de Pequeno Porte na Amazônia Brasileira: Análise de Uarini-AM

Studies of urban climate have advanced in small Brazilian cities, however, they are scarce in inland cities in the Legal Amazon. The goal of this survey was to verify the thermal and hygrometric field in Uarini-Amazonas in the dry seasonal season. It started from the theoretical-methodological framework of the Urban Climate System (S.C.U.) with a focus on the thermodynamic subsystem and research on heat islands in a tropical environment. Air temperature, relative humidity (U.R.) and wind speed data were collected in September 2019, using mobile transects. In addition, the surface temperature and the vegetation index by normalized difference (NDVI) were analyzed to verify the thermal structure and vegetation density in the urban area. The software used was Excel and QGIS 3.10. The results showed that the highest intensity of the urban heat islands occurred at night, with moderate magnitudes. The U.R. in the afternoon showed, in most points, values ​​below 60% and the wind speed was higher in the areas with the highest density of tree vegetation.Os estudos de clima urbano têm avançado em cidades brasileiras de pequeno porte, entretanto, são escassos em cidades interioranas na Amazônia Legal. O objetivo do trabalho foi analisar o campo térmico e higrométrico em Uarini-Amazonas na estação sazonal seca. Partiu-se do referencial teórico-metodológico do Sistema Clima Urbano (S.C.U.) com enfoque no subsistema termodinâmico e de pesquisas sobre ilhas de calor urbanas em ambiente tropical. Foram coletados dados de temperatura do ar, umidade relativa do ar (U.R.) e velocidade do vento no mês de setembro de 2019, por meio de transectos móveis. Além disso, analisou-se a temperatura da superfície e o índice de vegetação por diferença normalizada (NDVI) evidenciando a estrutura térmica da superfície e da densidade de vegetação na área urbana. Os softwares utilizados foram Excel e QGIS 3.10. Os resultados demonstraram que a maior intensidade das ilhas de calor urbana ocorreu no período noturno, com magnitudes moderadas. A U.R. no período vespertino apresentou na maior parte dos pontos valores inferiores a 60% e a velocidade dos ventos foi superior nas áreas com maior densidade de vegetação arbórea
