Economic development at times is one dimensional growth. The inclusion of human capital makes the growth two dimensional. However, the third dimension, the inclusion of the natural resources capital, makes the growth sustainable and equitable for future generations. Economic growth is fueled by energy. The carbon based energy production has consequential global climate change. Therefore, clean power generation is paramount to avoid unsustainable growth into the future. A clean power plan (CPP) recently mandated by the US EPA has the pathway to reduce carbon emissions from electric generating units. This presentation will elaborate on the “energy and sustainability into the future”
