Abstract â?? IGIP has been the sole provider of an internationally renowned and acknowledged curriculum for engineering education and pedagogy over the past 40 years. More than 2000 engineering educators and technical teachers at different institutional levels in many countries have successfully received their pedagogical and didactic training through this curriculum Today new legal requirements and IGIPâ??s awareness-raising campaign in many states have led to the implementation of a lot of compulsory teacher training programmes in this field. IGIP has, however, always been able to stay on top of these developments and has now come up with its new 2013 Berlin version of the ING-PAED IGIP curriculum.
