This paper addresses network performance evaluation for the Internet of Things. There are a wide variety of networks at the bottom layer of the Internet of Things, such as wireless sensor network, ad hoc network. Therefore, it is not easy for the Internet of Things to evaluate its network performance. For the heterogeneity of the Internet of Things, this paper proposes an application-oriented network performance evaluation model.
