Social Entrepreneurship Development in Malaysia

The proposition on the dynamic role of social entrepreneurship is positive with the offering of academic programmes and activities with academics, entrepreneurs, business people and individuals in the society. Academically, more academics and practitioners have shown their interest in doing more research on social entrepreneurship and proposed to the policy makers to integrate it into the economic system. While the acceptance in Malaysia is still at infancy stage, there have been increasing existences of social entrepreneurship academic programmes and activities in Malaysia.
