EVALUASI TATA RUANG DAN SARANA PERPUSTAKAAN KANTOR PERWAKILAN BANK INDONESIA KALIMANTAN BARAT

AbstractThe research discusses the evaluation of spatial and library means at the BankIndonesia West Kalimantan Representative Office. The goal of research is to know thespatial and library means of the West Kalimantan Representative Office of BankIndonesia, based on the national standard for the special library N0.006 in 2011. Theresearch used a qualitative method with a descriptive from of research. The datacollections of this research were by observation, interview, and documentation. Theinforman on research is 3 people namely the coordination and communication functionstaff, librarian, and library users. The results show that the spatial layout and librarymeans are good, where the arrangement of the room is arranged according to itsfunction which consists of a circulation area, a processing area, a multimedia area, achildren's area, and reading area. Completeness means of service and means work thatare owned exceeds the SNP special library. However, for the arrangement of thefurniture, there are still things that need to be considered for the distance of the readingtable and collection shelf or arrangement of library collection. The lighting in thelibrary room uses sunlight and lamps that can be categorized as bright. Setting the airtemperature using AC (Air Conditioner) with a temperature of 23.9 0c.Keywords: Spatial, Special Library, Bank Indonesi
