Background and objective: To measure the immediate effect of a High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) manipulation targeting the C5/6 vertebral segment on pain intensity in subjects with Lateral Epicondylalgia (LE). Design: Randomised assessor blinded controlled experiment. Methods: Ten subjects (7 male, 3 female; mean age= 37.7, SD=10.8) with unilateral elbow pain participated in this study. Prior to enrolment subjects were screened to establish the presence of LE.
