The usage of blockchains for access control in the internet of things

This work investigates the control access of Internet of Things and possible ways to ensure it using blockchains. An access control system is being developed using "Hyperledger Fabric" blockchain network. System meets the criterias which were set during the work and has distinguished expandability property. The description of the architecture includes the scenarios for the initiation and operation of the system and its main components. The main architectures operating principles are also highlighted. During the analysis of the system, it is evaluated according to the criteria set out in the work, and the main shortcomings of the system are identified. The system prototype is developed and described by operating scenario. As a result, the requirements were met during the programming and configuration of the system. The proposed architecture uses minimal resources of IoT devices and allows devices to communicate using a single communication protocol.
