Timber is one of the oldest and most well-known structural materials and one of the few natural resources that are renewable. Acacia hybrid which is produced from natural crossing between two parental timber species (Acacia auriculiformis and Acacia mangium) which it has desirable characteristics of fast growth rates and increased heart rot resistance in Sarawak.
