This article aims to present a report on the didactic-pedagogical interventions carried out through brain games with students of Basic Education in public schools in the municipality of Diamantina and region, in Minas Gerais and discuss the importance of ludic in science learning. The actions were carried out by a group of students and teachers from the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri in the university extension project “Brain Games: learning and challenging the mind”. Initially, a survey was made in the literature about view of several authors on the theme of ludic in education.
