Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is a malignant epithelial tumor originating from the bronchial epithelium that shows keratosis and/or intercellular bridges. Papillary squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC) is an extremely rare subtype of SCC that manifests with a unique intrabronchial papillary growth pattern.
