Today, incontestably the most outlying rural areas are subjected to the economic effects which favour the phenomenon of agglomeration. Nevertheless, far from mechanically depending on rules of macroeconomic determinism, some enclosed geographical environments can reveal diversified and successful trajectories of evolution.
