The considerable amount of Roman glass found in the Gironde is mostly unpublished. A number of pieces from two sites are studied in this paper : about twenty fragments of vessels and of window glass, dated between the first and the third or fourth centuries, found at Lormont ; from the villa at Plassac, three engraved cups, precious late Roman imports from Cologne (Rhineland) and possibly from the Eastern Mediterranean.La verrerie romaine, très bien représentée en Gironde, est encore en grande partie inédite.
