Epigraphic texts and archeological evidence have transmitted the memory of the cults practiced by Phoenicians settled in Greek lands. The present study focuses on the worship of theoi patrioi, to whom various dedications in the Greek language are addressed, made by Phoenicians staying on the island of Delos. Starting from the meaning of the notion of theoi patrioi in Greek culture, I will try to understand what this label means in the Greek writings of the Phoenicians. A digression on the Phoenician documentation will then identify which contexts would best match the notion borrowed from the Greek. The final part of the analysis will focus on a few documents that do not directly mention theoi patrioi but present evidence for analogous cults...
