Importance of microbism in the semen of stallion. The authors described the important intervention of bacterial potential pathogens in the semen of stallion. The study was effectued on 325 semens in different breeds. The contamination was Klebsiella, Streptococcus equisimilis and zooepidemicus, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Other saprophytic and potentially pathogenic to the stallion’s reproductive tract and mare’s reproductive tract are Aeromonas, Enterobacter, Serratia, Acinetobacter, etc. 63 % of the semens were contamined with one bacteria (45 %), with two bacteria (16,3 %), with three bacteria (1,2 %).
