A technique for quantitativly evaluating flue antibodies using the passive Hemolysis of sheep red blood cells sensitized by influenza virus is described (Single Radial Hemolysis in agar medium). Compared with Hemagglutination inhibition, this test appears to be equally specific and at the same time better suited for measurement of small amounts of antibodies, in the horse. The test has been used to determine serodiagnosis after infection as well as post-vaccinal immune reactions.
