Dimensions of personal communication devices have decreased drastically in the past few years. Consequently, antenna miniaturization, for a better integration, became a challenging task in RF engineering. Communication standards proliferation reinforces this need for integration and miniaturization since today nearly a dozen antennas may have to coexist on a single mobile terminal.
