Investigates some of the bending characteristics of the high tensile 0.016 inch (0.4064 millimetre) 'premium plus' grade Wilcock orthodontic wire to identify any cause for higher than expected breakage rate. Comparisons are made between types of fracture patterns, and it is suggested that to avoid fractures in high tensile stainless steel wires, certain factors in manipulation are critical.Thesis (M.D.S.) -- University of Adelaide, Dept. of Dentistry, 1996
