Objective: The objective of the present study was to carry out the presence of antioxidants activity on root extract of Dilleniaindica (Family-Dilleniaceae) which is believed to have the protective mechanisms in beneficial health effects. Methods: Considering its medicinal importance, the plant was chosen for extraction with various solvents such as petroleum ether, chloroform and ethanol which was taken into considerations to determine the phytochemicals analyses present in it.
