The alteration in the homeostasis of gut microbiota and harmful bacteria is associated with various kinds of diseases. Many gastrointestinal disorders such as inflammatory bowel diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, colorectal cancer and systemic diseases such as diabetes, obesity and atherosclerosis are due to dysbiosis in human gut.
