Hippophae salicifolia (commonly known as Seabuckthorn) can be regarded as a rich natural source of multivitamins. High amounts of vitamins A, B1, B12, E, K and polyphenols account for its vast nutraceutical properties. Some studies have established the superiority of H. salicifolia over other close relatives in terms of bioactive components.
