HARMONI MASYARAKAT DI DESA BALUN, KECAMATAN TURI, KABUPATEN LAMONGAN PASCA TRANSFORMASI RELIGI SEBAGAI DAMPAK PERISTIWA G30S PKI MASA ORDE BARU

The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the religious composition / belief of the Balun villagers during the New Order era, 2) To analyze the process of creating religious harmony in Balun Village during the New Order era, and 3) To analyze the role of the government in the formation and maintenance of religious harmony in the Village Balun during the New Order. The sources used are divided into two, namely primary sources and secondary sources. The primary sources used by researchers were the results of direct interviews from historical actors in the required year, statistical data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and Balun Village archives in the form of data on the number of religious followers, geographic conditions data and Balun Village monograph data with these data. can be a reference for researchers to analyze the development of the number of followers of religions in Balun Village. Then the secondary sources used by researchers are books and journals from previous research related to Religion and its development during the New Order era. The results of this study indicate that the demographic composition, the majority of people embracing Islam as much as 65% Christianity as much as 25% and Hinduism as much as 10% of the average total population during the New Order era. The number of religious believers in Balun Village changes every year due to factors of marriage, death and population movements. The harmony between religious communities in Balun Village was marked by the events following the G30SPKI incident, namely the impact of government regulations at that time which required Indonesians to embrace an official religion that was recognized by the government which resulted in a massive wave of religious transformation. The government's efforts to create and maintain harmony in Balun Village include the implementation of the Pancasila Cultivation and Practice Guidelines (P4) program and making agreements by all religious leaders and residents of Balun Village to always maintain harmony between religious communities inBalun Village. The process of implementing these programs can maintain religious harmony in Balun Village as evidenced by the absence of problems related to religious harmony.
