Morphology is the branch of linguistics that identifies the basic units of language as a grammatical unit. Grammatical unit is called morpheme (Verhaar (2008:97)). Morpheme is divided into two, namely free morpheme and bound morpheme. Free by morfemis is a form that can stand alone and does not require other forms combined with it. Merging basic words with derivational affixes can give rise to a form. Derivational words are changing classes. Analysis of German derivation is very important because a lot of the books of literature, science and technology still speak German, especially German magazine.
