Prosedur Penanganan Kredit Bermasalah pada PT. Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Sumber Artha Waru Agung

Increased lending by banks can generate profits in the form of interest on loans given to customers and will also increase the amount of receivables from the bank. However, with the increase in the number of loans granted, PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Sumber Artha Waru Agung will be faced with the potential for greater bad debts and are included in non-performing loans. Therefore, PT. BPR Sumber Artha Waru Agung needs to handle non-performing loans in order to minimize losses and improve credit quality. This study aims to determine the procedure for handling non-performing loans at PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Sumber Artha Waru Agung. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews with credit staff of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Sumber Artha Waru Agung and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. Based on the research conducted, the conclusion that can be obtained is that the development of non-performing loans in 2018-2020 at PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Sumber Artha Waru Agung is still not stable, the factors that cause non-performing loans consist of internal factors and external factors, procedures for handling non-performing loans can carried out by means of intensive coaching to debtors and credit restructuring. For non-performing loans that cannot be repaid after coaching and credit restructuring have been carried out, the handling of non-performing loans can be done by taking over the collateral and writing off/collecting write-offs. The obstacles faced in handling non-performing loans and how to overcome the obstacles faced in handling non-performing loans. Keywords: Procedure, Non-Performing Loan
