Evolução da cadeia produtiva de avicultura de corte

Poultry farming started at the end of the 19th century, on the Asian continent. Before that, birds were used as fighting animals, and also for ornamentation. From the 19th century onwards, they began to consume eggs and poultry meat. In Brazil, poultry farming began in the 1930s, when small producers began to raise free-range chickens. In the 70's, began to modernize and improve poultry farming, intensifying production. The facilities where the animals are raised are largely responsible for good results in poultry farming. Brazil finds itself today as the largest exporter of chicken meat in the world. Thus, the finishing of the animals, with the shortest time, is of paramount importance to remain on this podium. And for this to happen, innovations in ambience, which is the title of this review, are extremely necessary to obtain better results.A avicultura teve início no final do século XIX, no continente asiático. Antes disso, as aves eram utilizadas como animais de briga, e também para ornamentação. À partir do século XIX, foi que começaram à consumir ovos e carne de aves. Já no Brasil, a avicultura teve início na década de 30, quando os pequenos produtores começaram à criar galinhas caipiras. Na década de 70, começou-se à modernizar e aprimorar a avicultura de corte, intensificando a produção. As instalações onde os animais são criados, tem grande parte da responsabilidade de bons resultados na avicultura de corte. Pois quanto melhores as condições do ambiente em que as aves vivem, melhor elas expressam suas características produtivas, resultando em uma melhor e mais rápida produção. Surge então, a necessidade de estudar e analisar o aperfeiçoamento de tecnologias, sem deixarmos de lado a questão econômica, que também é de suma importância para uma boa produção. O Brasil encontra-se hoje, como o maior exportador de carne de frango no mundo. Assim, a terminação dos animais, com o menor tempo, é de suma importância para manter-se nesse pódio. E para que isso ocorra, inovações em ambiência, que é o título desta revisão, faz-se extremamente necessário para a obtenção de melhores resultados
