This page is from George Sternberg\u27s personal photo album. These black-and-white photographs were collected by paleontologist George Sternberg. The top image is a photo of the Belly River, and behind the river are the Pierre shales, which have broken off into the river. The middle image is a photo of the Red Deer River, which is surrounded by large outcroppings and some shrub brush. The bottom image is a close-up view of the breaks along the Red Deer River, where some shrub brush can be seen, as well as the weathered texture and the different shades of color of the rock.
