This page is from George Sternberg\u27s personal photo album. These black-and-white photos were collected by paleontologist George Sternberg. Above the photos, an inscription written by Sternberg says, These 2 views were taken in the Cypress hills. Sask. 1914.†The top photo shows four horses grazing in a pasture. At the foot of the hills behind the pasture are a small ranch house and a sod barn. The second photo shows the Cypress Hills. On the left side of the photo, the hills are covered in grass. On the right side of the photo, the valley is flat. Wheel tracks are visible along the front edge of the muddy section of the field.
