DissertationThe knowledge of factors influencing intention to quit has been used by large organisations to retain skilled employees. Not much, however, is known of the extent to which small businesses have used such knowledge to retain skilled employees, especially among small establishments, like B&Bs where research shows increased challenges in retaining employees. Previous attempts to extrapolate such knowledge in the B&B sector has only focused on owner-managers’ factors, leaving a gap in terms of exploring other possible factors on intention to quit.
