This thesis is focused on database management systems. At first, we will go through relational and non-relational databases, their principles and use cases. After that, we made a research on which databases are currently in trend. Next, we constructed a testing application that dynamically visualizes results of conducting CRUD tests on MongoDB, PostgreSQL and MySQL. At the end, we provide the interpretation of results. The final conclusion of this thesis is that MySQL is not longer an option for modern applications, while PostgreSQL and MongoDB are on an equal lever, each is good for its type
