Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common liver disease. The NAFLD is associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and dyslipidemia. Vaspin is a newly discovered adipokine that has several functions, including regulation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
