By 2050, our planet must double food production to feed an anticipated 9.3 billion people while managing constraints such as limited water supplies, an energy-supply crunch and climate change. Agricultural innovation will be a key part of the solution, and agribusiness must play a role in delivering these innovations. One example of this is Monsanto’s Sustainable Yield Initiative, a commitment to helping farmers produce more and conserve more through a pledge to double crop yields with reduced inputs per unit of output and to improve farmers’ lives by 2030.Title VI National Resource Center Grant (P015A060066)unpublishednot peer reviewe
