Kineziofobija ili strah od pokreta je česta pojava u rehabilitaciji ozljeda lokomotornog sustava. Također igra veliku ulogu u prelasku akutne boli u kroničnu. Pojam je nastao unutar modela koji opisuje izbjegavanje pokreta uvjetovano strahom od boli. Kineziofobija se mjeri putem Tampa upitnika za kineziofobiju koji je sastavljen od 17 izjava o boli, vjerovanjima o boli i tjelesnom stanju te o vježbanju. U ovom istraživanju cilj je bio ustanoviti pojavnost kineziofobije kod osoba koje se rehabilitiraju od ozljeda lokomotornog sustava, kao i izmjeriti razinu kineziofobije putem Tampa upitnika.
