Cognitive Performance of College Students with Low Socioeconomic Status and Depressive Symptoms Problems: A substantial body of research has documented a relationship between lower socioeconomic status (SES) and greater depressive symptoms. However, few studies have examined the impact of childhood SES and depressive symptoms on cognitive performance in young adults.
