Peptidomimetic oligourea foldamers are now used to mimic the composition and the structure of cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) to deliver biomolecules (i.e nucleic acids) into cells. It has been recently shown that dimerisation of short amphipatic oligoureas enables to efficiently deliver nucleic acids (i.e plasmid DNA) into different cell lines.
