Addiction has been conceptualized as an inability to control drug seeking and taking despite the knowledge of adverse consequences it has on the person or its relatives. Characterized by a loss of control, compulsive behaviours and the emergence of a negative emotional state during withdrawal, addictions concern millions of people in France nowadays and is considered as a major public health issue.
