After having studied the teaching context, the institutional context and the different teaching theories, I have built a sequence which takes the learners’ profile and the avantages of the different theories in consideration. The question of multilingualism and foreign language acquisition will be dealt with here. The learners tested are Reunionese, whose mother tongue or initial language is creole, the additional language there, is French and the target language is English. This action research involves theory and classroom practice.
