Social interactions rely on our ability to learn and adjust on the spot to the other’s behavior. Strategic games provide a useful framework to study the cognitive processes involved in the representation of the other’s intentions and their translation into the most adapted actions. In the last decades, the growing field of behavioral economics provided evidence of a systematic departure of human’s behavior from the optimal prescription formulated by game theory.
