Wave control is of fundamental interest to many applications. One can force the wave to propagate along a desired path by designing the propagation medium, this allows the concept of Negative refraction. Lamb waves are adequate to this concept application. They shows the existene of Zero group Velocity (ZGV) points above which coexist both forward and backward modes. An abrupt change of thickness of a plate allows to convert a forward mode into a backward one, thus giving rise to negative refraction phenomenae. This manuscript shows a semi-analytical model develloped to predict the reflection and transmission coefficients of Lamb modes at a thickness step.
